The circus studio “Fantazery” from Orsha was awarded the Grand Prix and a first‑degree diploma at the republican festival “Arena‑STAR”.
The exemplary circus studio "Fantazers" from Orsha has once again been recognized as one of the winners of the prestigious circus arts competition. This time, the young artists presented their solo program "Journey Through Time" at the 2nd Open Republican Festival "Arena-STAR". For this, "Fantazers" were awarded the Grand Prix along with a valuable gift and a diploma of the I degree. The Orsha team also separately presented three solo acts – a hula hoop performance "Housewives", the act "Flash", and an equilibrium act on rollers "Chess Queen". These acts received diplomas of I degree laureates.
– This is not our first time participating in this festival-competition, – said the head of the exemplary circus studio Svetlana Ravkovskaya. – It aims to popularize circus arts among children and youth in our country, and to promote the exchange of experience and skills. "Arena-STAR" has become an important milestone in the development of the circus festival movement in Belarus, uniting amateur circus groups from across the republic. Last year, "Fantazers" also won the Grand Prix and received a television as a gift for their act on straps "Oddball" performed by Polina Boloshenko.
This year, 20 groups from the republic participated in the competition, presenting about 90 acts of various genres in the capital.
