Церемония инаугурации Президента Беларуси пройдет сегодня во Дворце Независимости

The inauguration ceremony of the President of Belarus will take place today at the Independence Palace.

The inauguration ceremony of the newly elected President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, will take place today at the Palace of Independence. The start is expected at 12 o'clock, reports BELTA.

The inauguration ceremony, to which more than 1100 people are invited, will be held in the Hall of Ceremonies - the largest hall of the Palace of Independence. Alexander Lukashenko will take the Presidential Oath of the following content: "Entering into the office of the President of the Republic of Belarus, I solemnly swear to serve the people of the Republic of Belarus faithfully, to respect and protect the rights and freedoms of man and citizen, to observe and defend the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, and to faithfully and diligently fulfill the high duties imposed on me".

The ceremony will be broadcast live on the website of the President of the Republic of Belarus, on the channels "First Information", "Belarus 1", ONT, STV, MIR, as well as on the resource videobel.by and the BELTA YouTube channel.

Alexander Lukashenko will travel to the inauguration along two main city avenues - Independence and Winners. The motorcade will start moving at 11:45. It will be accompanied by an escort of nine motorcyclists. The motorcade will cover 13 km to the venue of the inauguration - the Palace of Independence - which is what will be shown in the broadcast. The constant speed of movement will be 60 km/h.

It is planned that after the inauguration ceremony, a ceremony of oath of allegiance to the Belarusian people and the President of the Republic of Belarus will take place at the square of the State Flag located near the Palace of Independence.
