Today in Orsha, a solemn ceremony honoring the state symbols of the Republic of Belarus took place. The event was held in an atmosphere of patriotism and respect for national values.
The state symbols of the Republic of Belarus embody the ideas of national unity, are the most important attributes of sovereignty and independence, reflect our spiritual and moral traits, the peculiarities of the culture and worldview of the Belarusian people, and personify the social order of our country aimed at development and ensuring decent living conditions based on the equality of all citizens. The state symbols of the Republic of Belarus also remind us of the personal responsibility of each for the prosperity of Belarus and fill our hearts with pride for our Motherland, - noted the chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee Igor Moroz.
The event was attended by: district leadership; officers of the armed forces and law enforcement agencies; activists of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union; representatives of youth organizations; employees of enterprises and organizations in the region.
Especially solemn was the moment of taking the oath of loyalty to the state symbols of the Republic of Belarus. Young patriots pledged to honor the flag, coat of arms, and anthem of the country, to carefully preserve traditions, and to actively participate in the development of their homeland.
The solemn ritual was accompanied by the performance of the State Anthem of the Republic of Belarus, as well as creative performances.
The holding of such events strengthens civic unity and contributes to the upbringing of the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism and respect for national traditions. Orsha once again demonstrated its commitment to state values and the historical heritage of Belarus.
