A solemn rally in honor of Defender of the Fatherland Day was held in Orsha

In Orsha, at the Monument to the Soldiers-Liberators, partisans, and underground fighters who perished during the Great Patriotic War, a solemn rally was held dedicated to the Day of Defenders of the Fatherland and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus.

Representatives of teams from enterprises, organizations, and institutions, activists of public youth, veteran, and military-patriotic associations, students and working youth, leadership, and residents of the district participated in it.

Traditionally, the participants of the rally laid flowers and wreaths at the memorial in memory of the fallen soldiers.

Dear Orshans! We congratulate you on the Day of Defenders of the Fatherland and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus!

Defending one's home, the Fatherland is a duty, the fulfillment of which for everyone is a matter of honor. That is why February 23 is a nationwide holiday, a day for all strong, courageous, and strong-spirited people. Any Belarusian, whether on combat duty or engaged in peaceful work, is primarily a defender of the Motherland.

On this wonderful holiday, we wish you goodness, happiness, harmony, and prosperity. Health and longevity to veterans, successful service to soldiers and officers. We wish that this holiday is always peaceful and joyful!
