Ceremonial presentation of the Mother’s Order in the Orshansky District
Today, a significant event took place in the Orsha district – the presentation of the state award, the Order of Mother. This high award is given to women who have shown exceptional merit in giving birth and raising children, and is a symbol of recognition of their maternal labor.
Present at the ceremony were: Igor Alexandrovich Moroz, chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee; Inna Viktorovna Khomutovskaya, chairman of the Orsha District Council of Deputies; Anastasia Adamovna Prokofyeva, deputy chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee; Zhanna Ivanovna Radevic, chairman of the Orsha District Organization of the Public Association "Belarusian Union of Women".
Opening the solemn ceremony, Igor Alexandrovich emphasized the importance of supporting family and motherhood in Belarus:
"Issues of family, motherhood, and childhood are under special attention of our state and are key directions of social policy. One of these directions is the enhancement of women's status in society, protection of motherhood, and support for families. The Order of Mother is the only Belarusian award intended for honoring women for their merits in giving birth and raising children. Please accept our sincere congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of your receiving this high state award – the Order of Mother. May your children grow healthy, smart, and grateful. We wish your families strong health, love, mutual understanding, and well-being".
Two remarkable women dedicated to raising children were invited to receive the awards:
Ekaterina Dmitrievna Antashkevich, a seller at the private trading unitary enterprise "Berdovich-torgservice", mother of five children; Tatyana Sergeevna Karpitskaya, a seamstress at the limited liability company "ArmiStroll", mother of six children.
This day became not only a recognition of the merits of large families but also a reminder of how important it is to value and support the family – the foundation of our society.
