The solemn award ceremony for the best employees in the sports sector took place at the GCK "Pobeda".

On May 16, a festive event dedicated to the Day of Workers of Physical Culture and Sports took place at the City Culture Center "Victory". On this day, those who make a significant contribution to the development of sports, promote a healthy lifestyle, and raise a new generation of champions were honored.

Athletes, coaches, team members, and veterans took their rightful place on the sports grounds not only in the Orsha region but also far beyond its borders. They delight their fellow countrymen with their achievements, defend the honor of the region, and enhance the winning traditions.

This was mentioned in the greetings by: Inna Khomutovskaya, chairperson of the district Council of Deputies; Anastasia Prokofyeva, deputy chairperson of the district executive committee; Snezhana Bryuzgina, head of the department of sports and tourism; Natalia Savitskaya, chairperson of the Orsha district organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Culture, Information, Sports, and Tourism.

It was noted that an excellent base for sports activities has been formed in the Orsha district, with great attention paid to the implementation of sports programs and projects aimed at attracting the population to regular participation in mass sports, and promoting a healthy lifestyle. Workers of physical culture and sports make a significant personal contribution to the development of this social sphere, uniting more and more people around them: not only athletes but also fans and lovers of an active lifestyle. Through their work, they fulfill a very important mission – strengthening and preserving the health of the population.
