What is the Trade Register?
The trade register is a list of trade objects, as well as trade subjects – trade organizations and individual entrepreneurs who conduct trade within the territory of the Republic of Belarus.
Principles of Building the Trade Registry
- completeness and accuracy of the information contained therein, openness and accessibility of it for universal review;
- promptness, accuracy of the information provided from the Commercial Register;
- compliance with organizational, program‑technical and methodological requirements.
Objectives of creating and maintaining the Trade Register
- collection and storage of information on trade objects, trade subjects;
- use of the information contained in the Trade Register for developing trade development and improvement programs, prospective schemes for the development of the trade network of territories;
- analysis of the provision of the population of the Republic of Belarus with trade areas, places in public catering establishments, for the purpose of determining the norms of state social standards for trade service to the population.
Organization of maintaining the Commercial Register
The trade register is maintained by the Ministry of Trade.
Registration in the Trade Register of the Republic of Belarus of trade objects, trade entities and online stores is carried out by city and district executive committees, the local administrations of Minsk at the place of registration of the legal entity and individual entrepreneur on an applicant basis.
The Trade Register is maintained by the Ministry of Trade.by means of the information transmitted by the oblast executive committees and the Minsk city executive committee in the prescribed manner on electronic media concerning the created trade objects and trade subjects, updating this information when data about trade objects, trade subjects change, exclusion from the Trade Register of trade objects, trade subjects in cases provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Belarus, storage and protection of the Trade Register information from unauthorized access.
