Now not only in dollars. Lukashenko approved a draft amendment to the SCO budget agreement
The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, signed decree No. 398 on November 14, approving the draft protocol on amendments to the Agreement on the procedure for the formation and execution of the budget of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization dated December 1, 2017, as the basis for negotiations. This was reported by BELTA from the press service of the head of state.
The draft protocol establishes the possibility of paying annual contributions to the SCO budget not only in US dollars but also in other currencies.
The government is authorized to sign this international agreement. It is planned that this will take place during the meeting of the Council of Heads of Government (Prime Ministers) of the SCO member states in Moscow, scheduled for November 17-18 of this year.
