Construction amnesty in Belarus has been extended until January 1, 2028.

The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, signed decree No. 10 on January 13, extending for 3 years the simplified procedure for the acceptance into operation of single-family residential houses and non-residential buildings constructed by citizens without permits and project documentation (except for those located in Minsk). This was reported by BELTA from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

Applications for the acceptance into operation of such buildings can be submitted by citizens until January 1, 2028.

Local executive and administrative bodies have been granted the right to accept the named objects into operation, and they will not be recognized as unauthorized.

The decree will allow for the legalization of unauthorized constructions built by citizens on land plots obtained by them before September 1, 2022.

Corresponding changes have been made to the decree of the President of Belarus dated July 25, 2022, No. 253 "On the simplified procedure for the acceptance into operation of construction objects".
