The force swept through the Orshansky district

As reported to the journalist of the "Orsha Newspaper" by the head of the Orsha District Department for Emergency Situations Andrey Kuryatnikov, over the past day, rescuers were dispatched three times to eliminate the consequences of bad weather.

In Orsha, in Microdistrict-1, in the villages of Novoe Khorobrovo and Stavry, trees fell onto the roadway due to the wind. Two cars were damaged. Fortunately, there were no human casualties. A strong gusty wind caused the disconnection of three power transmission lines in the Orsha district. This was reported to us by the deputy chief engineer of the branch "Orsha Electric Networks" Vladislav Kovalenko. As a result, the power supply to 59 transformer substations in 22 settlements was disrupted. – A special work regime was immediately introduced, – explained Vladislav Vladimirovich. – Six teams and the same number of units of equipment began emergency recovery work. All necessary measures are being taken for the prompt restoration of power supply.
