Saving the owl
An important message has been received by the Orsha City and District Inspection of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection!
In the plantations of common pine in the city of Baran, concerned citizens discovered and rescued a fledgling Eurasian owl that had been harmed by predators. A medical examination showed that the bird has minor feather damage. However, there is no threat to its life. It is important to note that the owl is a fledgling, meaning it is a young bird that has not yet grown all the necessary feathers for flight. Therefore, it cannot fly at this moment. The inspection did not remain indifferent to this incident. Employees promptly confiscated the bird and delivered it to veterinarians for examination. The medical examination showed that the bird has minor feather damage. However, there is no threat to its life. It is important to note that the owl is a fledgling, meaning it is a young bird that has not yet grown all the necessary feathers for flight. Therefore, it cannot fly at this moment. In this regard, the owl was transferred to the State Educational Institution "Orsha District Ecological and Biological Center for Children and Youth," where it will be provided with the necessary care and conditions for recovery and further development.
