Joint work always unites - Alexander Subbotin about the campaign “Give the forest a new life!”
The leadership of the Vitebsk region has joined the republican campaign "Give the forest a new life!", which is taking place in the Surazh forestry.
On a territory of 1.4 hectares, the head of the region, together with deputies and heads of structural divisions, will plant about 10,000 forest crops – pine seedlings and fir saplings.
– Vitebsk region has joined the necessary campaign for the whole country "Give the forest a new life!". I am confident that this is just the beginning; nevertheless, so many people have already joined the initiative. For three years, not only in spring but also in autumn, we help create a new forest. It is pleasant to see how the crops we planted earlier have grown and are gradually turning into trees, – noted Alexander Subbotin. – Joint work has always united Belarusians. And in the Year of Improvement, I want our land to become more beautiful and cozy.
The director of the Surazh forestry, Dmitry Podleschuk, noted that traditionally, with the arrival of spring, everyone gets involved in this noble cause.
– We are creating forest crops for future generations. To grow a good forest, it is necessary to prepare the site, cultivate the soil, plant quality planting material, and then properly care for it for seven years, – noted Dmitry Podleschuk.
The republican campaign "Give the forest a new life!" will last until April 12.
