And today, with a pleasant mission, the inspectors welcomed this couple at the maternity hospital to congratulate them on the birth of their baby. A journalist from "Arshanka" learned the details.
Their acquaintance happened spontaneously and under unexpected circumstances. Early in the morning on August 5, the traffic police crew – police captain Dmitry Ivulin and senior lieutenant of police Yegor Kalachinsky were on duty in the Orsha district. Around 4 a.m., on the M8 highway near the village of Antonovka, the officers noticed a BMW car moving towards Orsha.
The intuition of the experienced inspectors did not fail; the alarming driving style piqued the officers' interest, and they decided to stop the vehicle. At the signal of the red-blue beacon, the driver stopped and hurried to the traffic police crew, explaining that he was urgently taking his wife to the maternity hospital. The officers immediately understood the situation and quickly escorted the couple's car to the maternity hospital. On the way, they contacted the duty unit of the Orsha ROVD, which alerted the medical staff about the arrival of the expectant mother.
Literally an hour later, a girl named Alexandra was born. Today, the young parents Nikita and Natalia Karaka were met at the discharge by numerous relatives. With flowers and gifts, the traffic police officers were also waiting at the entrance. They wished the family health, well-being, and fewer stressful situations. The inspectors mentioned that the traffic police crews are oriented towards providing assistance to road traffic participants, and in case of an emergency, they recommended contacting the duty unit at the number 102.
