Snowfalls give no respite to Orsha's municipal workers

From February 10 to 11, a snowstorm once again covered the Orsha region. Utility services, as before, are actively working to clear the streets, sidewalks, and yards.

– The intensity of cleaning in the region is not decreasing. Currently, three sand spreaders, three loaders, and eight MAZ trucks are removing snow from the streets of the city. In the afternoon, snow removal equipment from six units will pass in a column along the central streets with heavy public transport traffic, – reported the head of the road maintenance section of the Orsha special vehicle base, Oleg Halai, to the editorial office.

On the eve of the Day of Remembrance of Internationalist Warriors, a large volume of snow clearing work is being carried out near the monument to the residents of Orsha region who died during combat operations in Afghanistan. Just yesterday, about 50 tons of snow were removed from the square by the Dnieper River.

In winter bad weather, utility workers also take care of the condition of the Square of State Symbols. For example, recently a new Belarusian flag was raised into the sky.
