Under the title "Goodbye, Summer!" last Saturday, a celebration took place in the children's park "Fairy Tale Land," which became a bright finale to summer.
The organizers worked hard and prepared many activities and entertainments. One could play active and board games.
Check your knowledge of favorite movies and cartoons in a movie quiz. By guessing cartoons or movies from a song, a frame, or the voice of a character, participants earned points. Those who scored the most were awarded certificates to the cinema.
The quest "Secrets of Old Orsha" from the tourist center was very popular among young Orshans. To answer the quest questions, one had to stroll through the landmark places of the city, find a date on a building somewhere, and decipher a coded word somewhere else. Winners received gifts, and all participants not only got souvenirs but also got acquainted with the history of Orsha and learned interesting facts about it.
For those who wanted a more active rest, the gaming area of the district culture center "Victory" was open. Workers from the Vysokovsky, Yurtsevsky, and Lisunovsky rural culture houses offered kids to play bowling, darts, jump rope, and other games.
For the first time this year, the IT school "Cleverland" presented a platform at the celebration, where everyone could try their hand at programming and receive consultation, as well as play various puzzles and educational games.
Not only interactive platforms for children of all ages were working, but also informational and educational ones, as well as various city services. Employees of the State Auto Inspection and activists from the Babinich Secondary School's YID squad prepared an educational platform where everyone could test their knowledge of traffic rules. Young Orshans studied road signs, traffic light signals, and repeated road behavior rules in a playful manner in anticipation of the new school year. The kids were offered an engaging quiz where they could answer questions and receive useful gifts.
At the platform of the Orsha GROS, one could get acquainted with the work of rescuers, sit in the cabin of a real fire truck, and try on the role of a rescuer.
During the celebration, the "Social Reception" of the territorial center for social services of the Orsha district was operating. While the children were engaged in games, parents had the opportunity to talk to specialists from the TCSON, learn about the social services provided, types of assistance for families, and receive psychological consultation.
At the SDYUSHOR platform, one could learn about various sports sections in our region and possibly sign up for one of them. The boxing section students conducted a demonstration training and showed everyone interested the techniques and combinations of punches in this sport.
The concert program featuring performances by creative groups from Orsha became a bright decoration of the celebration.
