Investigator Ekaterina Safronova – a girl with a steel character
Women have long proven to this world that they are far from the weaker sex. Today, representatives of the fair half of humanity achieve success in many fields. At the same time, most of them combine work with the role of a mother, the keeper of the family hearth. Among them is investigator for particularly important cases of the Orsha interdistrict department of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus, Ekaterina Safronova.
She graduated from the Belarusian State Agricultural Academy with a red diploma in "law studies." When the question of her first job arose, Ekaterina Nikolaevna could not decide for a long time, but it was obvious to her that she would work in law enforcement. After consulting with her parents, the girl decided to try her hand in the ranks of the Investigative Committee's employees. Ekaterina wanted to work in her hometown, but there were no vacant positions. She was offered the position of investigator in the Tolchin district, and she agreed.
– It was not easy to work, – recalls Ekaterina Safronova. – On the very first day, I was handed a criminal case, and it started spinning: investigations, gathering and checking evidence, inspecting crime scenes, interrogating witnesses and suspects, appointing expert examinations, transferring cases to the prosecutor for referral to court. There was catastrophically not enough time, but I systematized everything for myself, while learning from more experienced colleagues, and over time everything started to work out.
The girl's diligence did not go unnoticed by the leadership of the Investigative Committee.
Literally four months later, Ekaterina was appointed senior investigator. After a few years, she was transferred to the Orsha interdistrict department of the IC, where she continues to serve, but now as an investigator for particularly important cases. Now, Ekaterina Nikolaevna is investigating criminal cases in the field of economics.
The investigator admits that her work is far from easy, and not only for women. It is hard moral and sometimes physical labor. There are many difficulties, but the main ones are the practically complete absence of free time, the lack of opportunity to communicate with friends and relatives, and the lack of time for communication with family and children. Periodically, she has to sleep a couple of hours a day, or even less, but at the same time, she always needs to be in shape.
But despite all the difficulties of service, Ekaterina Safronova is a charming, smiling, gentle, and open person who tries to spend her free time with her family. She also loves to sing, participates in many singing competitions and festivals, and often becomes their winner.
