The waste collection situation in Orsha has stabilized

The situation with garbage collection in Orsha, which arose during the holiday days, has stabilized. This was reported to the editorial office of "Arshanskaya Gazeta" by the deputy chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee, Sergey Shurov:

– The Orsha special auto base has entered the established schedule for the collection of solid household waste. Garbage is being removed from all container sites. Of course, the large number of holidays during the New Year celebrations, heavy snowfall, and then frosts made significant adjustments to the sanitary cleaning of the region. There were also organizational moments, but it should be noted that throughout this time the Orsha special auto base was working.

The district leadership immediately took control of the garbage situation. Monitoring groups were created under the Orsha District Executive Committee, which went to problematic addresses and identified new "hot" spots. A large number of appeals regarding garbage collection were received by the editorial office of "Arshanskaya Gazeta". All of them were forwarded to the district executive committee and processed by the utility workers.

It took almost a week for the garbage collection work to return to normal, but control over maintaining order in the region continues. The situation has been analyzed, and certain conclusions have been made to prevent similar cases.

"Arshanskaya Gazeta" worked closely with its subscribers on social networks, local authorities, and employees of the Orsha special auto base.

Journalists traveled around the city and saw how the container sites indicated by residents were cleaned. They visited the yard territories on Textile Workers Avenue 29, 10-14, Novators Street 2, Soviet Street 29, Mogilevskaya Street 117, garbage from container sites and garbage chambers has been removed.
