Today is the second day of the International Economic Forum and exhibition-fair in Orsha

The XIII International Economic Forum and the XIV Republican Universal Exhibition-Fair "Orsha Traditions" continue in Orsha.

The theme of the day is "Cooperation within the SCO". A plenary session was held at the Ice Arena on issues of implementing mutual interests aimed at improving the quality of life and well-being of the population. Representatives from the business sector and various branches of the economy from Belarus, Russia, Uzbekistan, Iran, and China are participating in the event.

Welcoming words to the participants of the meeting were addressed by the First Deputy Chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee Sergey Pats, President of the Union "Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Pskov Region" Vladimir Zubov, Advisor on Political Affairs of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Belarus Azimjon Ozotov and the Third Secretary of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Republic of Belarus Kianidju Samad.

Participants of the plenary session got acquainted with the industrial and investment potential of the Orsha region, as well as the opportunities of the Pilot Zone for regional trade and economic cooperation China – SCO. A presentation of the Industrial Park "Great Stone" was held as a platform for developing cooperation in the field of innovations. Representatives of the chambers of commerce and industry of the Vitebsk region, as well as the Pskov and Smolensk regions of the Russian Federation, spoke at the event. The investment and logistics potential of the SEZ "Bremino-Orsha" was presented.

Negotiations between representatives of enterprises from the Orsha region and sister cities also took place during the meeting.
