Russian language and mathematics became the most popular subjects at the RCE.
The most popular subjects for the rehearsal of the centralized exam were the Russian language and mathematics. This was reported to journalists by the Minister of Education Andrei Ivanets, as conveyed by a BELTA correspondent.

A total of about 58.5 thousand graduates of 11th grades across the country are participating in the RCE this year. "This procedure has become traditional for our country. First of all, it is aimed at ensuring that every 11th-grade graduate can feel comfortable in a specific exam venue, see what the difficulty of the tasks will be, gain confidence in their abilities, and see the level of knowledge they possess. The most popular subjects for us are Russian language - 17.9 thousand registered, mathematics - nearly 12.9 thousand, and biology - 6.9 thousand graduates of 11th grades. We are very pleased with this, as it indicates that the natural science and physics-mathematics profile is popular, and these are precisely the specialists our country needs. We expect the most successful and best students in this field," said Andrei Ivanets.
For the rehearsal of the centralized exam, 144 testing points are traditionally used, of which 30 are based in higher education institutions and 57 in colleges and general secondary education institutions. 780 buses are involved for transporting students from rural areas. The head of the education department noted that the transportation of children to the RCE venues has been fully completed, and there are no emergencies considering the weather.
Regarding innovations in the conduct of centralized testing this year, the minister emphasized that the difficulty of the tasks remains basic and unchanged - it fully corresponds to the basic level of school tasks. "There are no changes in the specification or the difficulty of the tests. This is our principled approach, the task set for us by the President. At the same time, we see that 11th graders sometimes change their passports. In order for them to use their certificates, which were previously identified by passport number, from this academic year we have introduced the identification of each graduate by identification number. This allows applicants, regardless of whether they have an old or new passport, to use the certificates of the centralized exam and centralized testing that they received earlier. The second innovation is that we have made changes to the instructions for conducting the tests and regulated calculators. We clarified the requirements for calculators that can be used when performing exam tasks in chemistry and physics: a simple one-line calculator that allows only arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, extraction of the square root of a number), percentage operations, calculation of the reciprocal value, sign change operation, and operations with one memory cell," informed Andrei Ivanets.
The third change concerns graduates who used mobile devices to monitor their health in the 11th grade. "Such students are allowed into the CE auditorium with these devices. Additional medical certificates will not be required. Information about the need to use such devices is entered by the general secondary education institution during registration for both the rehearsal of the centralized exam and the CE itself," noted the minister.
Control over the rehearsal of the centralized exam is organized entirely in accordance with the instructions for conducting the CE and CT. Each auditorium has the necessary number of teaching staff present. "Parents and students can be absolutely confident in the fairness of the exams and the grading," added Andrei Ivanets.
Maria Tolochintseva, an 11th-grade student of Gymnasium No. 25 named after Rimma Shershneva in Minsk, chose the history of Belarus in the context of world history for the rehearsal of the CE. "I plan to enroll in linguistic support for intercultural communications at BGEU. For this, history is needed. I have already written the RT on this subject twice, identified which topics I need to improve. Now I will see how the exam itself goes at the RCE. I hope that in May I will be fully prepared for the centralized exam and will pass it well," shared the graduate.
