Happy Birthday, dear Orsha!
Dear Orshans and guests of our beautiful city!
On June 27, we celebrate a special holiday - the Day of the City of Orsha. This day is filled with warm memories, pride in our history, and joy that we are part of this wonderful place.
Orsha is one of the oldest cities in Belarus, first mentioned in chronicles back in 1067. Throughout its long history, our city has witnessed great events, endured wars and rebirths, preserving its unique spirit.
Here, the fates of outstanding individuals intertwined; poets, artists, and scholars created here. Orsha is not just a point on the map; it is a place where strong, kind, and talented people live.
Modern Orsha is a dynamically developing city with a well-established industry, culture, and sports. We take pride in our enterprises, educational institutions, parks, and the Dnieper embankment, which has become a favorite recreation spot for the townspeople.
Every year, Orsha becomes more beautiful: new facilities appear, streets are improved, and infrastructure develops. But most importantly, the warmth and hospitality that have always distinguished our city are preserved.
Special words of gratitude go to our residents – those who contribute to the development of Orsha with their hard work, initiative, and concern. Thanks to you, our city is growing, becoming more beautiful, and turning into a place that people want to return to. And today we truly see that the youth are choosing Orsha – new opportunities for education, work, and creativity are emerging here.
On this festive day, we wish our city prosperity, peace, and new achievements! May every resident feel like part of a large and friendly family called Orsha! May our city continue to delight us with its successes, and we will do everything to make it even better!
Happy City Day, Orsha!
