From July 1st, public transport rides for schoolchildren in Orsha will be paid

According to the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus No. 202 dated 16.02.2011 (paragraph 1.1), students of general education institutions and institutions providing special education must pay for public transport travel in full from July 1 to August 31 inclusive.

These categories have the right to free travel on public transport of regular urban communication, urban electric transport, and in the metro from their place of residence (stay) to their place of study and back during the period from September 1 to June 30 inclusive. This right is implemented based on a student card or a new sample student certificate (resolution of the Ministry of Education dated 21.06.2012 No. 67 as amended by the resolution of the Ministry of Education dated 01.03.2017 No. 15) stating that the citizen is a student or pupil of an educational institution with indication of the place of residence (stay) and study.
