The administration of the Vitebsk region congratulates the workers and veterans of the forestry and woodworking industries on their professional holiday - Forest Workers' Day.
This holiday is a tribute of appreciation and respect to those who faithfully serve the forest, care for it, preserve, enhance, and rationally use forest resources.
The forest is one of the main riches of our region. Centuries-old coniferous forests occupy 60% of the entire forested area.
It should be noted that such a resource is not only our ecology but also the economy, food, and energy security. Every year, thousands of residents, together with you, increase forest areas during joint ecological actions.
