The leadership of Vitebsk and Orsha regions met with young agrarians

As part of the 1st stage of the regional forum of young specialists in the agro-industrial complex, the leadership of Vitebsk region and Orsha district participated in an open dialogue

The speakers included the assistant to the President of the Republic of Belarus – inspector for Vitebsk region Vladimir Yurgevich, the first deputy chairman of the Vitebsk regional executive committee Sergey Levkovich, the chairman of the Orsha district executive committee Igor Moroz, as well as the heads of structural divisions of the regional executive committee, the industry trade union, and the regional management of ASB "Belarusbank".

During the meeting, the discussion focused on the opportunities for professional and career growth of young leaders in the workforce, prospects for work in the agro-industrial complex, as well as issues of wages, housing provision, etc.

This year, more than 300 graduates from secondary specialized institutions and universities came to work in the agro-industrial complex of Vitebsk region. This is a large army of specialists who are just starting their journey in the profession.

As noted by the assistant to the President of the Republic of Belarus – inspector for Vitebsk region Vladimir Yurgevich, the creation of food security is the foundation for the state.

– Today, the issue of retaining young specialists is acute. The village needs personnel, and therefore we will continue to create all conditions for them to develop our agricultural sector, – emphasized Vladimir Iosifovich.

Strengthening the personnel potential of Vitebsk region in the agro-industrial complex, not losing a single specialist – these are the main tasks facing the regional leadership. The first deputy chairman of the Vitebsk regional executive committee Sergey Levkovich noted during the meeting:

– Let our guys who have received agricultural education grow, gain experience, implement new ideas, and stay to work in the agricultural sector. We need them very much!
