The administration of Orshansky District met with the residents of the agritown Smolyny
This year, the capital of the district holiday of rural workers "Dazhynki" will be the agrotown Smoliany.
This amazing corner of Orsha region is famous for its historical landmarks: the Church of the Virgin Mary, the Transfiguration Church, the Church of St. Alexei, the "White Kovel" castle. Hundreds of tourists come here every year for impressions.
The chairman of the Orsha district executive committee Igor Moroz and the chairman of the Council of Deputies Inna Khomutovskaya met with local residents to discuss the plan for the improvement of the settlement, to hear opinions and suggestions about how the villagers see their village, and what should be prioritized during the repair work. The dialogue was quite lively. The residents of Smoliany raised many pressing issues that concern them: from the operation and equipping of the clinic with medical equipment to lighting at bus stops, and the future of historical and cultural monuments. Each topic was discussed in detail.
The preparation for the district "Dazhynki" will be impressive. The improvement will affect almost all areas of life in this agrotown. The local clinic, school, and the adjacent territory, the House of Culture, and the building of the agricultural college will be renovated. Order will also be established in the park areas, and the bathhouse will be repaired. Special attention in the improvement will be given to the central part of the agrotown, where all festive events will take place. Local residents asked to pay attention to the poor assortment of goods in the "Euroopt" store, street lighting, the lack of schedules at bus stops, timely garbage collection, and order at container sites, trimming of emergency trees, equipping a mini-market, and much more.
