The Orshansky district administration congratulates residents on Victory Day!

Dear veterans, esteemed compatriots! Today we celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory – a sacred date that will forever remain a symbol of courage, resilience, and boundless love for the Motherland.

On this day, we proudly remember the heroes who fought for every inch of our native land. Among the key battles is the battle for Orsha, where the Soviet troops displayed incredible bravery, holding back the enemy's advance and bringing closer the long-awaited hour of liberation.

But victory was forged not only on the front lines. Thousands of workers on the home front – women, the elderly, children – stood at machines day and night, grew bread, and saved the wounded. Their selfless labor became an integral part of the great feat of the people.

We bow our heads in memory of the fallen and are infinitely grateful to the living veterans. Their heroism taught us to value peace, cherish unity, and never forget the price at which our future was won.

May the peaceful sky they gifted us be eternal, and may the memory of their deeds live on in the hearts of new generations.
