The head of a large Chinese company visited Orsha.
In early September in Beijing, the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, held meetings with representatives of several Chinese companies. One of them took place with the leadership of "Shandong Hualian Greenhouse Engineering" headed by Chen Honglian. This company specializes in flower cultivation.
– You will probably be the richest and most desired guests in Belarus. I mean that we import floral products from all over. Even from Ecuador. Therefore, Mr. Chen, the gates are open for you. The Belarusian and Russian markets are untapped, as well as the European markets. There is practically no competition. If you start selling your wonderful floral products, including orchids, tomorrow, we will be very grateful to you, – said the Head of State during the meeting.
The discussion was about the possibility of building greenhouse complexes for flower cultivation in Belarus.
Today, the head of "Shandong Hualian Greenhouse Engineering" Chen Honglian and his colleagues were welcomed in the Orsha district. Together with the chairman of the Orsha district executive committee Igor Moroz he visited the special economic zone "Bremino-Orsha", where he got acquainted with the potential and capabilities of the multimodal complex, areas of cooperation, including the implementation of an investment project for the construction of greenhouses for growing floral and berry products.
The guests from China also visited Secondary School No. 16 in Orsha, where since 2014 students have been studying Chinese as an elective and as a primary foreign language. In 2016, an agreement with the RIKK BSU established a Center for the Study of Chinese Language and Culture at the school. As part of gratuitous foreign aid, three computer classrooms, furniture, multimedia boards, and educational-methodical literature were transferred to the institution. In 2021, a Confucius classroom of the Republican Institute of Sinology named after Confucius BSU was opened here.
The school director Galina Kabeshava together with her colleagues and students prepared a small tour of the school, a concert program, and at the end of the meeting, the guests visited the practical and developmental complex "Park of Ecological Culture", created on the basis of the school. As a sign of friendship and further cooperation, the head of "Shandong Hualian Greenhouse Engineering" Chen Honglian and the head of the Orsha district planted a tree.
