Our work for the benefit of society is also a positive, visible example for every citizen of our country and, importantly, for our growing young generation! And in the year of landscaping, this is especially atmospheric, urgent, and more than relevant! Representatives of labor collectives, led by the district leadership, went out to clean the streets and improve the territories in Miory. In total, more than 5 thousand people are working on the subbotnik in the district. The Committee for Architecture and Construction of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee worked at the republican subbotnik on the construction of a new surgical building of the regional clinical hospital. In the Lepel district, the location for maintaining order was the territory of the city and Komsomol parks, as well as the embankment of Lake Lepel. Here, employees of the district executive committee, the education system, and other active Lepel residents are working.
The Sharkovshchina district joined the republican subbotnik. Workers from all enterprises and organizations are working on the sites. The active members of the district executive committee, together with the Iodsky village council, employees of organizations and institutions located on its territory, and student youth are improving the agrotown of Iody. Residents of Sharkovchany are actively participating in the Republican subbotnik. The active members of the Rossony district executive committee are improving the territory of the Museum of Combat Brotherhood, the opening of which is planned for May. The team of the administration of the First of May district of Vitebsk, led by the head of the administration, Evgeny Semyonichev, together with the TCSON of the district, participates in the republican subbotnik and works on the improvement of the territory of the bath and health complex on the street of Internationalist Warriors. Employees of the Culture Center "Vitebsk" enthusiastically participated in the republican subbotnik. They cleaned up in the branches of the institution, landscaped the adjacent territories, and also put in order the burials of colleagues. And in the park named after the Soviet Army, the employees were joined by servicemen of the 103rd Vitebsk Separate Guards Airborne Brigade to maintain cleanliness.
The funds earned on the day of the subbotnik, including at workplaces, will go towards the construction of the National Historical Museum of Belarus.
As previously reported, the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, signed decree No. 50 on February 5, which provides for the construction of the National Historical Museum of Belarus in the years 2025-2027 in the area of Orlovskaya Street in Minsk, the People's Unity Park, and the creation of a permanent museum exhibition. The museum has been assigned the status of an All-Belarusian youth construction project, in which young people under the age of 31 can participate, including as part of student brigades. The new building is designed in the shape of a map of Belarus.
