Республиканский субботник прошёл в Оршанском районе

The republican subbotnik took place in the Orshansky district

In the current Year of Improvement, work is being carried out during the Saturday clean-up for landscaping, improvement, and tidying up: objects and territories of populated areas, landmark objects, historical and cultural values, memorial complexes, places of military and heroic glory, and burials of soldiers and partisans from the Great Patriotic War.

The object No. 1 of the republican Saturday clean-up in Orsha became the improvement of the future square, where a stele "Orsha – City of Labor Glory. 1941-1945" is being erected. It is planned to be opened in a solemn atmosphere on the eve of November 6.

Participants of the Saturday clean-up, led by the chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee Igor Moroz, were laying tiles on pedestrian paths, equipping sidewalks and flower beds. Young people, representatives of public organizations, and the "White Russia" party worked alongside the district head.

The Orsha district is transforming thanks to the coordinated work of patron organizations. As part of a large-scale event, they provide invaluable assistance in restoring order to agricultural organizations. Work is being carried out to cut bushes, store used tires, clean the territory of leaves, clean pens, tidy up hangars, and work on farms - caring for animals and cleanliness! Labor collectives from enterprises, institutions, and organizations, students and pupils, representatives of public associations, employees in the fields of sports, culture, education, healthcare, and simply concerned citizens actively participated. Together, they tidied up streets, yards, and enterprise territories, planted trees and shrubs, collected fallen leaves, tidied up alleys, improved recreation areas, and carried out cleaning work in the territory and production premises. The Saturday clean-up is an excellent example of how, through joint efforts, we can make our small homeland even more beautiful and comfortable for living.
