Planned monitoring and a selective inspection of activities to ensure fire safety in the Orshansky district have been carried out.
In January of this year, the Orsha GROC continued its planned work to bring facilities into a fire-safe condition. Today, there are certain restrictions on supervisory activities in the district, so the main activity of the department is monitoring. The first focus of the monitoring is to assist the head and officials of organizations. Only in a unified whole, cooperating in compliance with fire safety regulations and the operability of fire protection systems can safety be ensured for both employees and the entire economic entity.
Thus, in January 2025, employees of the SNIP of the Orsha city district conducted planned monitoring of economic entities, namely:
State Educational Institution “Kindergarten No. 46 of Orsha”, State Cultural Institution “City Palace of Culture “Orsha”, State Educational Institution “Babynichsky Kindergarten of the Orsha District”, State Educational Institution “Vysokovsky Kindergarten of the Orsha District”, State Educational Institution “Dachnensky Kindergarten of the Orsha District”, State Educational Institution “Orsha District Center for Physical Culture, Tourism and Local History for Children and Youth”, State Educational Institution “Orsha District Center for Creativity for Children and Youth”, State Educational Institution “Orsha District Center for Technical Creativity for Children and Youth”, State Educational Institution “Kindergarten No. 4 of Orsha”, State Educational Institution “Kindergarten No. 1 of Orsha”, State Educational Institution “Orsha District Ecological and Biological Center for Children and Youth”, State Educational Institution “Starsky Kindergarten of the Orsha District”, State Educational Institution “Smolyansky Kindergarten of the Orsha District”, State Educational Institution “Kindergarten No. 44 of Orsha”, State Cultural Institution “Culture Palace of Baran’ Orsha District”, State Educational Institution “Kindergarten No. 2 of Orsha”, State Educational Institution “Kindergarten No. 43 of Orsha”, State Educational Institution “Kindergarten No. 3 of Orsha”, State Educational Institution “BelGRES Kindergarten of the Orsha District”, State Educational Institution “Kindergarten No. 45 of Orsha”, State Cultural Institution “House of Culture of the urban settlement Orechovsk of the Orsha District”, State Educational Institution “Kindergarten No. 5 of the urban settlement Bolbasovo”, State Educational Institution “Mezhevsky Kindergarten of the Orsha District”, State Cultural Institution “House of Culture of the urban settlement Bolbasovo of the Orsha District”, House of Culture of Railway Workers of Orsha of the Cultural and Sports Center of the Minsk Branch of the Belarusian Railway, Orsha Civil Structures Division of the Minsk Branch of the Belarusian Railway.
Also, in January 2025, employees of the SNIP conducted 1 selective inspection of the State Educational Institution “Orsha State Medical College”.
The analysis of monitoring and inspections showed that the heads of the facilities need to take the requirements of technical regulatory legal acts of the fire safety standardization and certification system more seriously, as issues such as the lack of primary fire extinguishing means (fire extinguishers are absent), the storage of furniture, goods, and other foreign objects on evacuation routes, and doors located on evacuation routes are not equipped with locks (bolts) that allow them to be opened without a key and with functioning self-closing devices, and facilities are not equipped with automatic fire alarms are becoming more frequent.
The control of the implementation of the measures indicated in the recommendations of the Orsha city district emergency department was also not overlooked. The monitoring of previously sent recommendations showed that a number of identified violations of fire safety legislation, including mandatory compliance with the requirements of technical regulatory legal acts of the fire safety standardization and certification system, were eliminated by the management of these entities.
As part of the supervisory activities, an assessment of the activities of organizations engaged in the technical maintenance of fire automation installations was carried out.
Only in a unified whole, cooperating in compliance with fire safety regulations and the operability of fire protection systems can safety be ensured for both employees and the entire economic entity.
In order to prevent emergencies at facilities, managers should take a more responsible approach to the implementation of fire safety measures. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that in accordance with Article 17 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus “On Fire Safety”, the heads of organizations must ensure fire safety and fire safety regulations.
