The "For Spiritual Revival" awards and the President's special award were granted to cultural and art figures

The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, awarded the "For Spiritual Revival" prizes and special prizes to cultural and artistic figures. The corresponding decrees were signed by the head of state on December 19, as reported by BELTA in the press service of the Belarusian leader.

For active work in the humanitarian sector, which contributes to strengthening the spiritual values and moral traditions of the Belarusian people, and the patriotic education of youth, five President's prizes "For Spiritual Revival" were awarded based on the results of 2025.

The collective of the Synodal Department for Church Charity and Social Service of the Belarusian Orthodox Church was awarded for developing new directions in the church's social service and a significant contribution to pastoral care, while the collective of OAO "Belrestavratsiya" was recognized for preserving and reviving the historical and cultural heritage of Belarus.

The author team consisting of the artistic director of the Youth Variety Theater Vladislava Artyukovskaya and poet-songwriter Anna Lukashenko was honored with a high award for their significant contribution to preserving historical memory, strengthening the spiritual values of the Belarusian people, and creating and implementing the high-art patriotic project "Every Third".

For creating the documentary-analytical cycle of television films "Time Chose Us," the author team of the National State Television and Radio Company was awarded, which includes the Chairman of the NGTRK Ivan Eismont, the responsible producer of the main directorate of the "First Information" channel Gleb Gorbatyenko, and the deputy director of the main directorate of this channel Olga Makey.

Police Major Viktor Shipkov, senior district police inspector of the Department of Public Order Protection and Prevention of the Public Security Police of the Gomel District Executive Committee, was awarded for his personal contribution to the revival, preservation, and popularization of folk art, conducting ethnographic research, and reconstructing traditional festive costumes of the southeastern part of the Gomel region.

For outstanding achievements in the fields of musical, theatrical, cinematographic, decorative-applied, and choreographic arts, library affairs, and the education and upbringing of creative youth, which have received public recognition, ten special prizes of the President of Belarus were awarded to cultural and artistic figures.

High awards were given to the collectives:

The National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater of the Republic of Belarus - for significant contributions to patriotic education and the creation of the creative project "Pathetic Diary of Memory";

The exemplary dance ensemble "Chabarok" of the Minsk State Palace of Children and Youth - for a significant contribution to the preservation and development of choreographic art traditions, active participation in the socio-cultural life of the country;

The Brest Puppet Theater - for a significant contribution to the preservation of national spiritual traditions and the popularization of moral values through theatrical art;

The Mosty District Library - for a significant contribution to the patriotic education of the younger generation, and the implementation of the innovative literary project "Books Build BRIDGES".

A special prize was also awarded to the teachers of the Maladzyechna State Music College named after M. K. Oginsky, Lyudmila Volkovich-Boris and Elizaveta Chervontseva, for the revival, preservation, and development of the traditions of the Maladzyechna school of vytynanka. 

The artistic director of the honored collective of the Republic of Belarus, the film actor studio of the National Film Studio "Belarusfilm" Alexander Efremov was awarded a high honor for his significant personal contribution to the development and popularization of Belarusian theatrical and cinematic art. Police Lieutenant, soloist of the brass band of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Minsk City Executive Committee Anna Blagova - for her personal contribution to the development of contemporary musical art and the creation of patriotic-themed songs. Teacher of the Republican Gymnasium-College at the Belarusian State Academy of Music Tamara Zharova - for her personal contribution to the development and popularization of national musical art, preparing laureates of international and republican competitions. Master of folk arts and crafts of the Dzerzhinsk District Center for Culture and Folk Art Andrei Martynuk - for outstanding achievements in decorative-applied art, creating a unique technology for making mechanical clocks from wood. Soloist-instrumentalist of the branch "Museum of the History of Architecture of St. Sophia Cathedral" of the National Polotsk Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve Ksenia Pogorelaya - for her significant personal contribution to the promotion of Belarusian musical heritage and the development of organ performance in Belarus.
