President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 78 on February 25 awarding the Order of the Mother.
As reported on the official Internet portal of the President of the Republic of Belarus, for the birth and upbringing of five or more children, awards have been conferred upon women from various fields of activity.
Among them are representatives of industrial and agro-industrial enterprises, farms, construction and energy organizations, banking and social sectors, trade and communications, public catering, consumer cooperatives, internal affairs agencies, educational institutions, healthcare, culture, religious organizations, as well as individual entrepreneurs and homemakers.
Among the awardees are residents of the Orsha district Veronika Malakhovich, a cashier-controller at the "Euroopt" store of the LLC "Euratorg" branch in Vitebsk, who currently lives in the village of Yurtsevo, and Olga Solovyova from the village of Sofiyovka, a milking machine operator at the MTF "Devino" branch of the "Teplichny" Vitebsk Republican Unitary Enterprise of Electric Power "Vitebskenergo".
A total of 146 residents from all regions and the city of Minsk have been awarded the Order of Mother.
