PRESS RELEASE OF THE MINISTRY OF TAXES AND FEES OF THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS
The Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus adopted resolution No. 795 "On the amendment of resolutions of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus" (hereinafter - resolution No. 795) on December 30, 2025, which provides for:
1. The resumption until February 28, 2026, of the labeling of non-alcoholic beverages with unified control marks;
2. The reduction of the term (from April 30, 2026, to February 28, 2026) for the labeling of juices with unified control marks;
3. The establishment of the necessity for labeling the remaining non-alcoholic beverages and juices held by economic entities as of May 1, 2026;
4. The exclusion from the list of goods subject to labeling with unified control marks of watches related to jewelry and other products, in connection with the introduction from January 1, 2026, of a labeling mechanism using identification means as provided by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated October 21, 2025, No. 378 "On the labeling of jewelry and other products" (hereinafter - Decree No. 378).
Resolution No. 795 was adopted for the purposes of:
creating equal conditions for the labeling of juices and non-alcoholic beverages with unified control marks;
establishing a transitional period from March 1, 2026, to April 30, 2026, during which labeling with unified control marks or identification means of juices and non-alcoholic beverages is not mandatory. The transitional period is provided for the realization of the remaining goods labeled with unified control marks and for the transition of producers, importers, and retail organizations to labeling non-alcoholic beverages and juices with identification means;
simplifying the sale of non-alcoholic beverages and juices in retail trade objects using cash register equipment from May 1, 2026.
The provisions of resolution No. 795, which provide for the exclusion from the list of goods subject to labeling with unified control marks of watches related to jewelry and other products, come into force on January 1, 2026. The norms on the resumption until February 28, 2026, of the labeling of non-alcoholic beverages with unified control marks come into force 10 days after the official publication of the resolution.
On the expansion of the list of goods subject to traceability
The Ministry of Taxes and Levies reminds that from March 1, 2026, the list of goods subject to traceability will be expanded. Thus, from the specified date, the following will be subject to traceability:
- Washing machines, including used ones;
- New kitchen processors;
- New multicookers;
- New dishwashers;
- New microwave ovens;
- New stoves and cooktops;
- New vacuum cleaners;
- New irons;
- New kettles;
- New drills;
- New hair dryers;
- Televisions, including used ones.
