Representatives of the Orsha district organization "Patriots of Belarus" presented gifts to children with developmental challenges
The Republican charitable campaign "Christmas Tree of Wishes" by the Public Association "Patriots of Belarus" has already become a good tradition. It unites people from all corners of the country, bringing joy and happiness into the lives of children.
In 2024, more than 2,000 children from all over Belarus wrote letters to Santa Claus with their cherished wishes. In the Orsha district – 15. And all of them were fulfilled.
– The wishes were completely different: from toys to phones and bicycles. We congratulated each child personally at home. It is important for the kids not just to receive a gift, but to feel the attention from the people who extend a helping hand, – noted the activist of the Orsha district organization "Patriots of Belarus" Olga Sidorovich.
This time, representatives of the Orsha district organization "Patriots of Belarus" fulfilled another important mission – they delivered sweet gifts and the kindest wishes for the coming year to children with developmental disabilities from the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko.
The gift presentation took place at the Military-Historical Museum named after K. S. Zaslonov. After the event, the participants of the campaign were invited for a tour.
– The special significance of today’s meeting is given by the fact that the "Patriots of Belarus" came to the children on behalf of President Alexander Lukashenko. And the smiles and shining eyes of the kids are the most valuable thing we can receive in return, – emphasized the chairman of the Orsha district organization of the Public Association "Patriots of Belarus" Viktor Kolochov.
