Orthodox believers in Orsha celebrated the Nativity of Christ

On January 7, Orthodox believers celebrated one of the brightest and most joyful holidays – the Nativity of Christ. Festive services in the churches of Orsha began the night before.

The Nativity was preceded by a 40-day fast, which ended on Christmas Eve – January 6. That evening, the main service began. Journalists from "Arshanka" attended the service at the Church of the Nativity of Christ, which is also a patronal feast for its parishioners. The service was led by the rector of the church, Archpriest Vyacheslav Enukhov.
