Procedure for authorization in the payer's personal account

In Belarus, starting from July 1, 2024, all individual entrepreneurs are required to submit tax declarations (calculations) in the form of an electronic document. The electronic document contains details that allow establishing its integrity and authenticity, which are confirmed by the use of certified means of electronic digital signature (EDS). Thus, individual entrepreneurs need to obtain a public key certificate. However, we would like to point out that if an identification card (ID card) is available, the individual entrepreneur can work in the personal account of the taxpayer and send various electronic documents without the additional use of an attribute certificate.

The ID card is issued to a citizen for a period of 10 years. Simultaneously with its issuance, a public key certificate is issued for the same period. To work with ID cards, it is necessary to use biometric document readers. To authorize in the personal account of the taxpayer using the ID card, the following is required:

install and configure the "Client Program (CP)" software;
launch the NTClientSoftware application;
select the Personal Account of the taxpayer on the MNS website;
perform "Login with EDS, ID card (via ES IFYUL)";
enter PIN1 (authentication method "ID card").
