They said goodbye to the battle flag. In Vitebsk, a solemn demobilization of the servicemen of the 103rd Airborne Brigade took place.
Physically, spiritually, and morally strengthened. More than 300 ordinary soldiers from the 103rd Vitebsk Separate Guards Airborne Brigade are returning home. On October 20, a solemn farewell ceremony with the battle banner took place for them in Victory Square.
"Nobody but us!" – this motto of the "winged" guards united hundreds of young guys from all over Belarus. During their service, the paratroopers mastered modern samples of weapons and equipment and participated in exercises.
– The soldiers have passed all tests with dignity, becoming physically and spiritually hardened. Young people were sent to reinforce the State Border of Belarus and participated in many training sessions. Today they are ready to accomplish tasks of any complexity, – noted the brigade commander Colonel Vladimir Safonov.
Soldiers and officers laid flowers at the Eternal Flame – a symbol of resilience, courage, and selflessness of the defenders of the Fatherland, who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of our people.
At the solemn farewell ceremony with the battle banner, the brigade commander awarded the best soldiers with certificates and gifts. The personnel demonstrated high organization, discipline, and training.
At the end of the event, the servicemen being discharged into reserve marched in unison across Victory Square to the sounds of a military band.
