Подвели итоги участия Витебской области в Международной промышленной выставке «ИННОПРОМ. Беларусь»

Summarized the results of the Vitebsk region's participation in the International Industrial Exhibition "INNOPROM. Belarus"

The Vitebsk region brought a substantial portfolio of joint projects with Russian partners from the International Industrial Exhibition "INNOPROM. Belarus". This includes both already active and just emerging projects. The dialogue was lively, with meetings changing intensively.

During the two-day visit to Minsk, a representative delegation from the northern region, led by the chairman of the regional executive committee Alexander Subbotin, held a series of constructive meetings. The task is to strengthen interregional and international cooperation, build new cooperative chains, and outline joint projects.

The leading enterprises of the region presented their best developments at the international platform. Among them were OJSC "Naftan", "Polotsk-Glassfiber", "Red Fighter", "VISTAN", LLC "PO "Energo Komplekt", UP "Polymer Construction", CHPTUP "Vitsstroytehmash", LLC "FoErEm Systems", and SAAO "Novopolotsk Plant of Technological Metal Structures" and others.

Specific issues on the sidelines of "INNOPROM" in Minsk were discussed by the leadership with the governors of the Ulyanovsk and Smolensk regions, Alexey Russkikh and Vasily Anokhin, and the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to the Russian Federation Alexander Rogozhnik.

Let us remind you that on the opening day of the exhibition, Alexander Subbotin joined the round table "International Cooperation in the Field of Industrial Innovations – Dialogue Vis-a-Vis", and held a meeting with the governor of the Ulyanovsk region.

– The prospects for our further cooperation are numerous across all directions, starting from science and education and ending with heavy industry. It is gratifying to note that life itself suggests projects. Between our two meetings in Nizhny Novgorod and Minsk, several projects have already emerged – including the creation of a joint plant for portal cranes and scientific projects, – said Alexander Subbotin.

The interaction of enterprises has naturally developed at the international platform, he added. The heads of regions are left to strengthen it and provide enterprises with opportunities to get to know each other.

– We have very warm, friendly, and working relationships with Vitebsk, – noted Alexey Russkikh. – In the spring of this year, a delegation from the Vitebsk region visited a number of industrial enterprises in the Ulyanovsk region. As a result, several agreements were made regarding supplies to our enterprises (products. – Ed. note) of the aviation industry from the Vitebsk region. We have the Ulyanovsk Design Bureau of Instrument Engineering, which produces avionics for aircraft, closely interacting with OJSC "Izmeritel". Ulyanovsk automobile and mechanical plants held a series of negotiations with suppliers from the northern region of Belarus. I am confident that fruitful interaction will also be established here.

Alexey Russkikh invited Alexander Subbotin to visit his region. He also announced plans to organize a business mission of Ulyanovsk enterprises to the Vitebsk region.

On the sidelines of "INNOPROM. Belarus", the Vitebsk and Smolensk regions signed an agreement on cooperation to create a trade and exhibition center for Belarusian producers in the territory of the Russian region. The implementation of the project will contribute to the development and deepening of trade and economic ties, in particular expanding sales markets and supporting local producers. In addition, the establishment of a trading house will ensure the creation of new jobs.

The Smolensk region, according to Governor Vasily Anokhin, is interested in developing cooperation with the Vitebsk region in the fields of industry and trade. Joint events for experience exchange and attracting investments are planned.

The enterprises of Vitebsk returned from Minsk with a solid package of developments and agreements, having concluded new contracts with Russian colleagues. In particular, OJSC "Naftan" signed a memorandum with LLC "Poliplast Novomoskovsk", which envisages the development of cooperation in the supply of raw materials and the production of import-substituting products.

The production association "Energo Komplekt" offered Russian partners innovations in the field of cable products.

– PO "Energo Komplekt" maintains a reputation as a reliable supplier, the quality of whose products is highly valued by end consumers. The product range exceeds 200 thousand mark-sizes. In recent years, the production of power and control cables for use in electrical installations in explosive environments, cables for submersible electric pumps for oil extraction, mining cables, and water-cooled cables has been mastered.

For the enterprise, participation in international exhibitions such as "INNOPROM. Belarus" is important, as it allows not only to present its new developments but also to strengthen cooperation with existing partners and find new ones, – noted at the enterprise.

The Novopolotsk Plant of Technological Metal Structures also emphasized its focus on innovative products by presenting a welded grating flooring.

– The practical results of participation in exhibitions are visible over a longer distance. "INNOPROM" was active, lively, gathered a lot of public interest, and attracted potential partners from different countries. This is a valuable experience of communication with industry colleagues, thanks to which the enterprise gained many new contacts. We hope that these business connections will subsequently allow us to find new paths for cooperation and reliable partners, – emphasized Maria Friedrich, head of the marketing department of the Novopolotsk Plant of Technological Metal Structures.

In our country, "INNOPROM" debuted successfully: 520 companies from Belarus, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan participated. The exhibition organized by the relevant ministries of Belarus and Russia was visited by more than 14 thousand people. The next "INNOPROM" is scheduled for February 8-10, 2026, in Saudi Arabia.
