Побывали на участке для голосования в г.п. Копысь и посмотрели, как проходит досрочное голосование

We visited the polling station in the urban-type settlement of Kopysy and saw how early voting is taking place

Early voting in the presidential elections of the Republic of Belarus in the Orsha region continues.

A journalist from the "Orsha Newspaper" visited polling station No. 84 in the urban settlement of Kopysh today. It is located in the local House of Culture. It is lunchtime, but the members of the precinct commission and observers have no time to be bored. Residents of the settlement are actively going to vote.

Observer Vasiliy Dymkov notes that villagers  always take any elections seriously, especially the presidential elections. After all, they care about the fate of their country, and the care and attention that the state provides to their locality is very dear to their hearts. Just in the past year, the villagers had several reasons to be proud of their small homeland. In Kopysh, a cheese workshop has resumed operations. It was revitalized by the peasant-farmer enterprise "START TS," which took it under its wing. Now they produce a range of semi-hard cheeses: traditional "Suluguni," smoked "Suluguni" with natural paprika and herbs weighing from 100 to 300 grams, as well as cheese "Prad" and others. The woodworking site No. 2 of the Orsha forestry has also resumed operations, where various types of sawn timber are produced, and deep wood processing is carried out. Soon the residents of Kopysh will also try fresh bread from the revived bakery. The people of Kopysh see how their settlement is developing, transforming, and becoming more beautiful. They appreciate this. Therefore, they go to vote in a good mood and with confidence.

Among those who came for early voting are Anatoly Afanasyevich and Natalia Alexandrovna Kozlov.  The elderly couple was even a bit nervous when they saw the journalist. They are not used to such attention.

– We are responsible, conscious people, native residents of Kopysh. The presidential elections are important for us, as we choose our future and want to live in a wonderful country where care for working people, children, families, and pensioners is felt, – says Natalia Alexandrovna.

Polling station No. 84 was also visited by observers from the CIS  – the deputy director of the department – head of the security cooperation department Alim Dzhaqsybekov and advisor to the Executive Committee of the CIS Olga Kremskaya.  They noted the quality preparation and high level of early voting organization.

– It should be noted that people are coming to the elections with great pleasure  and enthusiasm, a wonderful atmosphere has been created at the polling stations, – emphasized Alim Dzhaqsybekov. – In my opinion, the experience of Belarus in conducting early voting deserves close attention; it can be applied by   other countries as well.
