Employees of the Orsha City Maternity Hospital were the first to join the republican campaign dedicated to Donor Day.

The head of the maternity hospital, Karaka M.G., urged everyone to take responsibility for their health, to become donors not only during campaigns but also regularly, emphasizing that the campaign is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.

"The theme of the Great Victory and donation is very intertwined, because defenders are not only those on the front lines, but also those who save lives," noted the head of the anesthesiology and resuscitation department, intensive care, deputy of the district Council of Deputies Karpeko O.A.

The need for blood components increases every year. They are used during childbirth, surgeries, high-tech interventions, as well as in anesthesiology and resuscitation departments. 34 medical workers replenished the blood bank today, and there are still those willing to donate tomorrow!
