Teachers of Orshanshchina were congratulated on Teacher's Day
A solemn concert dedicated to Teacher's Day was held at the House of Culture of Railway Workers. The hall was full of guests – teachers, industry veterans, students, and representatives of the authorities gathered to celebrate one of the most respected and significant holidays of the year.
The chairwoman of the Orsha District Council of Deputies Inna Khomutovskaya addressed the audience with a welcoming speech. She expressed gratitude to the teachers for their selfless work, high professional standards, and sincere love for children: – Being a teacher is not just a profession. It is a true calling that requires not only knowledge but also a big heart. Our teachers are an example of kindness, patience, and dedication to their work. We are proud that such talented, devoted, and highly qualified specialists work in the Orsha region. You are the true heroes of our time, and I can confidently say: the teachers of Orsha are the best in the country!
The words of congratulations were joined by the deputy chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee Anastasia Prokofyeva, the head of the education department Tatyana Yankovskaya, the chairwoman of the Orsha District Organization of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers Elena Shishakova, and the deputy chairman of the Orsha party "White Russia" Vitaly Dudarev.
During the ceremonial part, teachers were awarded certificates and letters of appreciation for their high achievements in work, initiative, and contribution to the development of the education system in the Orsha district. Especially warmly on this day, the veterans of pedagogical labor were honored. Words of gratitude for their invaluable contribution to the upbringing of generations and the development of education were heard from the stage.
– Today we remember with special warmth those who stood at the origins of the pedagogical traditions of Orsha, – noted Tatyana Yankovskaya. – Your work is a solid foundation on which the future is built. Thank you for your wisdom, patience, and invaluable experience.
To the sounds of applause, veterans were presented with flowers, commemorative souvenirs, and words of gratitude from colleagues and students.
The festive part of the concert was decorated with bright creative performances. Educational institutions and the House of Culture of Railway Workers prepared their performances.
A pleasant surprise was the participation of the teachers themselves, who also took to the stage, showcasing their talents in vocals and poetry.
