Teachers in the Orsha region have started the new school year
Teachers of the Orsha district summarized their work for the past academic year and outlined priority tasks for the new one at the traditional August conference.
The Deputy Chairperson of the Orsha District Executive Committee Anastasia Prokofyeva participated in the event. In her speech, she emphasized that the teacher is a key figure in shaping the future of our country.
– The district leadership pays great attention to the education sector: comfortable conditions for the educational process are being created, and the material and technical base of institutions is constantly being strengthened. It is important to preserve and enhance all of this, – said Anastasia Adamovna.
On September 1, 96 educational institutions will open their doors for more than 19 thousand children. This academic year, 1,148 boys and girls will enter the first grade.
Anastasia Prokofyeva congratulated everyone on the upcoming new academic year and presented awards of various degrees to the best teachers.
The head of the education department Tatyana Yankovskaya delivered a detailed report on the work of the education system in Orsha and on preparations for the academic year. She also awarded the winners of the competition for the best educational institution in the Orsha district in various nominations.
As is tradition, young specialists were honored at the August conference of educational workers. This year, more than fifty of them arrived in the Orsha district.
