Open meeting of the district executive committee: results of the heating season and preparation for the "Harvest"

Today, an open meeting was held in the large hall of the district executive committee, where important issues concerning the life of the district were discussed. The first deputy general director - chief engineer of the Vitebskoblgaz utility company, Andrey Alexandrovich Korobkov, participated in the meeting.

The results of the heating period of 2024-2025 and preparation for the new season. One of the key topics of discussion was the results of the past heating season. It was noted that despite the difficult weather conditions, the housing and communal services system of the district coped with the tasks set. Emergency situations were promptly resolved, and the heat supply to residential buildings and social facilities remained stable.

However, problematic issues were identified, such as equipment wear and the need for modernization of boiler houses. In this regard, preparations for the autumn-winter period of 2025-2026 have already begun. Repair work, fuel procurement, and readiness checks of utility services are planned. Special attention will be paid to social sphere facilities — schools, hospitals, and kindergartens.

Preparation of the ag. Smoliany for the district holiday "Dazhynki". The second important issue was the organization of the district holiday "Dazhynki", which will take place this year in the agrotown of Smoliany.

Meeting participants discussed issues of landscaping the agrotown. Special attention was given to the preservation of historical and cultural values and the repair of social facilities.
