The opening of the X-ray room took place at the Vitebsk Regional Clinical Cardiology Center. The material and technical base of the cardiology center is being systematically strengthened.
Only in 2025, the 2nd angiographic room and the X-ray computer diagnostics room were opened here.
The modern diagnostic equipment available at the cardio center provides optimal conditions for quality examination and treatment of patients.
The digital X-ray system for two workstations "UniExpert 2 Plus" of domestic production was purchased at the expense of the republican budget. Funding for repair work in the X-ray room was allocated from the regional budget.
- We have developed such a good tradition - we equip healthcare institutions in Vitebsk region with new modern equipment, making the diagnostic base more accessible for both specialists and patients. I know that there are further plans, and this is very correct. Moving forward is always important, - noted during the solemn opening the deputy chairman of the regional executive committee Vyacheslav Durnov.
The new equipment is intended for X-ray examinations, which are conducted on digital media, allowing information to be transmitted directly to specialist doctors at their workplace in real-time.
– The equipment will speed up the performance of X-ray examinations, reduce the dose load on patients, and allow more examinations to be conducted during a work shift, – reported the chief physician of the institution Natalia Podolinskaya. – X-ray examination of the skull, spine, thoracic organs, joints, hands, feet, and soft tissues of the patient in a sitting, standing, or lying position – this is what the new equipment is designed for.
The Vitebsk Regional Organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Healthcare Workers allocated funding for the arrangement of a dining room for the staff of the X-ray department. A refrigerator, microwave oven, soft and kitchen furniture were purchased.
