The reporting and election conference of the Vitebsk regional branch of the Belarusian Party “White Rus” was held at the VGU named after P. Masherov.
Delegates from 25 district and city party branches participated, either arriving directly in Vitebsk or connecting online.
Today, the regional branch of the Belarusian party "White Russia" has more than 9,000 members, while at the time of its founding in 2023, there were only one and a half thousand.
This rapid growth in the party's popularity is the result of significant targeted work to strengthen unity, patriotism, and the social orientation of events. "White Russia" is not just an association of like-minded individuals, but a powerful force united by the common goal of making Belarus prosperous and independent. The party proves its dedication to the homeland not just in words, but in deeds; its ideals are stability, dynamic development, and a worthy future for every citizen.
– It can be said with full confidence that "White Russia" as a political party has loudly declared itself with good, interesting projects, – noted the chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies Dmitry Demidov. – Together we have endured a serious test during the most important electoral campaign for the elections of the President of the Republic of Belarus. It is we, party members, who have shown ourselves to be a sufficiently formed mature political force. Ahead of us is a five-year development plan, a five-year quality plan, and we must not become complacent and wait for the next electoral cycle. We must clearly understand that there is an active struggle against our country, economy, defense capability, and most importantly, against spirituality and morality. All our achievements provoke irritation among Belarus's geopolitical opponents, who, by imposing severe economic sanctions, deploying military bases, and exerting informational influence, do everything to undermine our country. During this period, we need to understand our responsibility as a crucial element of civil society for the future.
As noted in her report by the chairwoman of the regional branch of the Belarusian party "White Russia", rector of the P. Masherov VSU Valentina Bogatyreva, the organization conducted more than 550 patriotic events and actions in 2024, including forums, round tables, and dialogue platforms, as well as meetings with ideological activists and labor collectives. Among them are the project "Modern World Order", a series of children's patriotic festivals "Love for the Motherland Belarus from Childhood", and others.
This year, the theme of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory has gained special significance. In the "Trio" shopping center of the regional capital, the exhibition "Great May of the Great Victory" was held for the second time, an international alley was planted in the Botanical Garden, a digital archive of memories from witnesses of the Great Patriotic War was created, and a number of events for the improvement of military burials from the Great Patriotic War were implemented. Within the framework of the "Party School" project, an educational online platform is operational.
And this is just a small part of all the work being done in every corner of the region. Much of this is thanks to the personal initiative, persistence, and activity of the chairman of the regional organization. Therefore, it is not surprising that the delegates of the conference unanimously re-elected Valentina Bogatyreva as the chairwoman of the Vitebsk regional branch of the Belarusian party "White Russia".
