Orshans residents planted trees on the ecological trail "Adrov"

As part of the month dedicated to tidying up, more and more places in the Orsha district are being put in order.

The city of Baran was no exception. While the communal services are tidying up the urban environment, city activists, together with representatives of the Orsha city and district inspection of natural resources and environmental protection and the team from the mini-CHP "Baran", went to the ecological trail "Adrov".

First of all, the friendly team cleared fallen branches from the route and removed dried trees. They conducted an inspection of wooden bridges and equipped rest areas.

The finale of the ecological action was the planting of trees. Volunteers planted over 30 seedlings of blue and green spruces, pines, and oaks along the trail, provided by the Orsha forestry.

– There is still a lot of work to be done here, but it is encouraging that every year more and more people who care about my project are joining us, and organizations in the district support us, – said the initiator of the ecological trail Artyom Gorshkov. – Our eco-trail is already beginning to attract tourists not only from our district but also from neighboring ones. Moreover, it is very important for environmental education. We are confident that in the future, schoolchildren will be told here about the local features of natural landscapes and the importance of preserving the nature of their homeland.
