Orsha residents among the winners of the regional stage of the festival “ART-vacations”
The Republican review-competition of artistic collectives and individual performers of secondary specialized educational institutions "ART-vacations" has been serving as a platform for the realization of the talents of the youth of Belarus for more than twenty years.
This year it is held under the motto "Creating the future while honoring the past: Victory! Inspiration! Life!" and is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War. The regional stage of "ART-vacations" took place from January to April in the Orsha, Polotsk, and Vitebsk districts, gathering more than two thousand students and teachers from 33 educational institutions.
On April 11, the final of the regional stage of the festival "ART-vacations-2025" took place in Vitebsk. Students of the Orsha State Mechanical and Economic College performed excellently in the final and brought home
a diploma of II degree in the nomination "Instrumental genre, performer of instrumental works." The diploma was awarded to student Anastasia Lapitskaya (supervisor – additional education teacher Vladimir Ermilov).
The diploma of I degree in the nomination "Theatrical genre. Collective of modern original genre" was awarded to the creative collective "X-man" (supervisor – additional education teacher Tatyana Murashko).
The collective "X-man" is an integral participant of the "Art-vacations" festival, winner of the republican review-competition in 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2021 in the nominations "Collective of modern original genre", "Theatrical creativity", "Group of modern dance directions". In the collection of "X-man" – II place in the national festival-competition of youth talents "Fire of youth creativity-2021".
Participants of "X-man" demonstrate strength exercises with kettlebells and barbells in an original form, with elements of workout and hand-to-hand combat, bend rebar and nails, walk on broken glass and nails, and much more.
