Orshans performed successfully at the regional youth sports forum "#OSA"
The regional youth sports forum "#OSA" took place last weekend at the tourist and health complex "Losvido" in the Gorodok district. More than 100 BRSM activists participated, including those from the Orsha district.
Welcoming words to the forum participants were addressed by the chairperson of the Gorodok district executive committee Irina Polyakova, the first secretary of the Vitebsk regional committee of BRSM Zhanna Naritsina and the international class sports master, athlete Marina Domantsevich.
– The regional youth sports forum is held twice a year – in autumn and winter. The event is aimed at strengthening and developing an active life and civic position, promoting a healthy lifestyle among youth, and exchanging experiences among BRSM activists, – noted Zhanna Viktorovna.
After the opening of the forum, teams were formed through a draw. Traditionally, the division is not based on territorial principles. This is a great way for participants to get to know each other.
The teams competed in a sports contest, a musical quiz, and an intellectual trivia. The last two challenges were dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. Also, as part of the forum, a charity athletics run took place, and funds were raised for the treatment of a 6-year-old Daniel Duk from Novolukoml.
The forum concluded with a contest of artistic self-activity "My BRSM Family." Here, teams performed based on territorial principles. For the audience and jury members, the performance of the Orsha team was one of the most memorable. As a result, the team from the Orsha district took second place. The winners were representatives of the Chashniki district, and the youth of the Glubokoe district rounded out the top three.
