Orshans residents joined the republican campaign to restore order
Today in Orsha, an event took place to restore order called "Clean Yard – Comfortable Life". As part of this event, the yard of house No. 6 on Tolstoy Street was improved.
As reported by the Deputy General Director for housing issues of the municipal unitary enterprise "Orshakomhoz" Ivan Sapega, this event was organized as part of the activities of the Year of Improvement. The initiative of the communal services to involve residents of the houses, including schoolchildren, in restoring order was supported by the Orsha District Executive Committee and the Department of Education. And today, the first such event for the improvement of the yard of house No. 6 on Tolstoy Street took place.
This house was chosen not by chance. In 2024, its major renovation was completed, and it was decided to also bring the adjacent territory into proper condition.
Armed with brushes and paint, members of the Youth Parliament under the Orsha District Council of Deputies enthusiastically got to work. First, they cleaned the benches, swings, and small architectural forms from old paint, and then painted them.
– In such events, the unity and cohesion of our people for the common good are primarily manifested, – says the chairman of the student chamber of the Youth Parliament under the Orsha District Council of Deputies Kiril Myslivets. – With actions like today, we show that we not only talk but also do concrete things.
The young man studies in the 11th grade of secondary school No. 13 in Orsha named after I. I. Yakubovsky and is not participating in such initiatives for the first time. Young parliamentarians not only actively participate in events but also propose their projects for the improvement of territories and make suggestions for opening various sites in our city. Thus, on the eve of May 9, at the initiative of the Youth Parliament, the Alley of Young Heroes of Orsha was opened on Mogilevskaya Street.
The guys have many ideas. For example, to create an educational space in our city where young people could get acquainted with the traditions of Belarusian folk culture, master techniques of folk decor, applied arts, and participate in various master classes. They are currently working on creating a project for a mobile platform of the youth parliament.
The work on improving the yard territories in our city will continue. We invite all concerned citizens to join in restoring order.
