Оршанцы присоединились к экологической акции «Беларусь синеокая»

Orsha residents joined the environmental campaign “Belarus Blue‑Eyed”

In the Orsha district, activities continue to restore order in populated areas and improve recreational areas for citizens.

This time, employees of the Orsha City and District Inspectorate for Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, the Orsha Interdistrict Inspectorate for the Protection of Animal and Plant Life, the Orsha Interdistrict Laboratory of Analytical Control, and BRSM activists joined the large-scale ecological initiative "Belarus with Blue Eyes." Together, they headed to Lake Kuzmino, located near the village of Klyukovka in the Orsha district.

– Our main task is to restore order, improve the territories adjacent to water bodies, and remind society of the importance of caring for nature, – said the head of the Orsha City and District Inspectorate for Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Andrey Nefyodov. – Pollution of the shores with plastic, household waste, and other materials not only spoils the aesthetics of the landscapes but also harms ecosystems. Conducting such ecological initiatives is not only practical assistance but also an important step towards forming an ecological culture among the population.

In just a few hours, the ecological team cleaned up the area around the lake. More than 20 bags of trash left by vacationers were collected, which activists retrieved from the most inaccessible places. They pulled out discarded bags and tree branches from the coastal water. These areas are not yet well developed, and the territory is large, so it required substantial effort. Among the finds were fishing nets and lines, prompting environmental protection specialists to place this area under special control.

Everyone can join the "Belarus with Blue Eyes" campaign: from schoolchildren and students to employees of enterprises, volunteer organizations, and families. Nature cannot cope with the consequences of human activity without our help, and every bag of trash collected is a step towards a healthy ecosystem. Join us! Together we can make Belarus cleaner, more beautiful, and safer for life.
