Orshans supported the parliamentarian's initiative, cleared the territory of the Kutein Monastery
The residents of Orsha responded to the initiative of the deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Mikhno, to participate in the cleanup of the territory of the Holy Epiphany Kuteinsky Men's Monastery.
As part of the republican subbotnik, workers from the Orsha flax plant and members of the youth council came. The engineering and technical workers of the Orsha special auto base also did not stay aside.
It should be noted that the territory of the monastery is large, equipped with green lawns, flower beds, and planted with trees and shrubs. Therefore, all participants of the action, led by the parliamentarian, took up rakes and brooms. They worked together, with enthusiasm. They cleared fallen leaves and also pruned trees and shrubs. They put things in order in just a few hours.
Alexander Mikhailovich thanked all participants of the labor detachment:
– I consider the participation of youth in the subbotnik important, because it not only unites the guys but also educates them spiritually and morally, – he noted.
At the end of the event, the rector of the church, Father Nil, took the participants of the action on a tour of the museum created at the monastery.
It should be noted that Alexander Mikhno traditionally organizes subbotniks on the territory of the Holy Epiphany Kuteinsky Men's Monastery with the involvement of the public. He sets an example of careful attitude towards the shrines of his native land.
